heise developer has published a short (German) article about mbeddr that summarizes the idea and provides an overview over the approach.
If you read this blog, there’s probably nothing new in the article, but it might be something you might want to forward to people who haven’t heard anything about mbeddr yet?

I was wondering – while it says that it’s an IDE, it says nowhere on which platforms it runs. Which probably means “industry standard”, right? 😉 Would be nice to specify the machine/runtime requirements in the github page and here in the FAQ or Overview pages.
I’d be interested if I could use this on OS X, but I guess I can’t?
MPS is Java. It runs (and we do run it) on Windows XP, Windows 7, MacOS X 10.x as well as Linux.
